Nijmegen

 

Nijmegen is the oldest city of the Netherlands (said to be founded in the year 6 AC).

It is reknown internationally for its '4 Day Marches' including '7day Summer-festivities' and its large student population.

Nijmegen is located high above the river Rhine and Waal in the midst of lush woodlands.

Should you require a little retail therapy, Nijmegen is also the perfect place for shopping, with its modern shopping centres, bustling market and specialist shops.
